Insights into the latest developments and trends in digitalization with a focus on "Artificial Intelligence made in Baden-Württemberg" were provided at this year's "Digital Summit - Economy 4.0 BW" in the Carl Benz Arena in Stuttgart on April 11, 2019. In addition to exciting keynotes and panel discussions, interesting workshops and company presentations took place for the more than 1,800 visitors. We from AMAI also had the opportunity to introduce ourselves as AI experts and presented a live demonstration on AI in image recognition at our booth. This involved live recognition and classification of passing visitors and objects with the help of AI and a camera.

The "Digital Summit - Economy 4.0 BW" takes place once a year and is aimed primarily at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in order to promote digitalization here as well. The Baden-Württemberg Minister of Economic Affairs Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut emphasized that 'AI made in BW' should become an internationally visible trademark and presented various measures of the state to support this process.
