At 2nd day of AI Companies from the region met on May 29, 2019 at the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce for lectures and subsequent buffet networking. AMAI GmbH was also present with a contribution from our managing director Dr. Jürgen Stumpp on the topic of “Current Possibilities of Artificial Intelligence.”
After being welcomed by Dr. Guido Glania, Chief Executive of Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and Matthias Hornberger, CEO of CyberForum e.V. The specialist presentations from the companies started. This included use cases and areas of application of artificial intelligence and machine learning, for example for the autonomous supply chain or the support of people in need of care.
The Karlsruhe technology region is considered one of the most important AI locations in Germany. That is why AI Day was founded by its organizers, the de:Hub for Applied Artificial Intelligence, who Innovation Alliance, the DIZ Digital Innovation Center and the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce, initiated to connect companies and research.
